"We have been working with the team at Moulds for just over 12 months having realised that we need to upscale our accountancy support. Our brief was clear; We needed to have a better understanding of our monthly performance and we also needed a sounding board for when we were looking at our longer-term strategic planning. We use Xero as our accountancy software which is Moulds’ speciality and so they were able to quickly on board us and see what we see, real time. "It’s been nearly 7 years ago we sat down with Stephen Moulds and asked ‘How do you write a 3-year plan?’ And ‘Why’. Our reason was to create an exit plan, to do this we had to create a company that could thrive without the 2 owners being involved day to day. 
This involved looking at the structure and how all the elements needed to come together, Operations, Marketing, Sales, People, Funding, Customers, Turnover, Profit, Cash flow and so on. 
We were left with a simple one-page Orbit plan, with a starting point as year zero and a circle for each of the next 3 years, populated with known figures for each chosen category.
